Maṭnawīye Ma’nawī  more commonly known as the “Masnavi” or “Mathnawi”, is a six-volume poetic epic by the renowned Persian poet and Sufi mystic, Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī. It’s considered one of the greatest works of both Islamic literature and mystical Sufi tradition.

In essence, the Masnavi is a spiritual guide, providing wisdom on how to attain inner peace, understand the divine love of God, and navigate the complexities of human life. It emphasizes love, tolerance, patience, and self-awareness as paths to spiritual growth and understanding.

Dīwān-e Shams-e Tabrīzī (The Works of Shams of Tabriz; دیوان شمس تبریزی), is a collection of poems by the 13th-century Persian poet Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, more commonly known as Rumi. This work is named after Shams Tabrizi, Rumi’s spiritual mentor and close friend, whose relationship had a profound influence on Rumi’s spiritual journey.

The collection comprises over 40,000 verses celebrating the mystical love and companionship that Rumi experienced with Shams, which led him to attain a deeper understanding of life, love, and divinity.
